Dr. Shey Ditto is a general and cosmetic surgeon who also trained in bariatric surgery. He founded Ditto Surgical in 2017. He was born in a farming community in west Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, and worked as an RN in the Emergency/Trauma Department at several large Level 1 Trauma Centers (Parkland Hospital, Baylor University Medical Center, and Lutheran General Hospital) for 4 years prior to obtaining a Master of Science degree with a focus on Clinical Research at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Ditto completed his medical education at Debusk College of Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University, graduating fifth in his class. Following a five-year residency in Fort Worth, Texas serving as co-chief his 4th and 5th year, he finished a cosmetic fellowship with a heavy bariatric focus in Arlington, Texas.
Dr. Ditto met his wife Connie in nursing school in 2002 at a summer internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Their son Thomas was born in December 2016 and are expecting another son in March 2018. In his free time, Dr. Ditto enjoys running, cheering on the UT Longhorns, wakeboarding and snow skiing.

Connie Ditto
Connie was born and raised in the Midwest and believes in the value of honesty and hard work. She is a registered nurse and a practicing lawyer. She is proud to serve behind the scenes as Ditto Surgical's Office Administrator and looks forward to assisting you and your family achieve higher levels of health and wellness through the cosmetic, bariatric, and general surgical options offered at Ditto Surgical. 
Connie enjoys volunteering and is a member of the Austin Junior League and serves on the Food In Tummies program which provides nourishing meals to underserved Austin children. 

Valerie Kernes
Valerie is the friendly face you will see at the front office and is also the voice of Ditto Surgical when you call. She enrolled in a two-year program at Virginia College where she studied medical office management and took MA courses. Having worked several years in the hospitality industry, she is passionate about making people feel welcome and happy. She has been in Austin for 5 years.
Valerie's hobbies include gourmet cooking and caring for small children.
